Diana Ross Concert Tickets and Imo’s For Kid’s Day

The following Imo’s locations (see list below) were selected at random to distribute at each location, two free Diana Ross Concert tickets to the first customer at each store who spends $80 or more on Imo’s For Kids Day, this Wednesday, April 25. It is the 80 anniversary of Variety and it is the 14^thconsecutive year that Imo’s franchisees donate 10% of their proceeds to Variety, to benefit children in our area with physical or mental disabilities to help them live more productive lives. Imo’s has already donated over $1.1 million over the past 13 years. The Diana Ross Concert is this Saturday Night at the Peabody and it is a private concert with no tickets being sold directly to the public.

Congratulations to Roger Johnson and his 12-year-old son, Cole, who won the Imo’s and Pepsi VIP Racing Experience sweepstakes — including tickets to a race at the Kansas Speedway and the chance to meet racing superstar Jeff Gordon!

Roger tells us he and Cole plan to present Jeff with a $100 check for the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation to fight cancer in memory of Cole’s mother and Roger’s wife, Heather, who recently passed away from cancer. Imo’s is proud of you both for your generous gesture!

Arnold, Missouri Woman Wins Blues Season Tickets In Imo’s Contest

Close to 700 people entered Imo’s “Win Blues Season Tickets” contest and the winner drawn at random was Melissa Jourdain from Arnold, Missouri. When she was told she was the winner, she started screaming and yelling and had to pull her car off the road to calm down as she was so excited. She will attend the Blues home opener this Saturday night in her new season ticket seats and will receive a magnet Blues season schedule to be handed out to all fans, complements of Imo’s. Melissa actually stopped by her favorite Imo’s in Arnold (where she got her entry form) to thank them as well.

The Great Cheese and Cheer Giveaway concludes today with a group of residents from Rainbow Village in Saint Louis, who have been selected as the final pizza party winners! Jessica G. of Saint Louis, Missouri, nominated the group from this nonprofit organization, which provides safe, comfortable homes for people with developmental disabilities.

According to the Rainbow Village website, the organization’s goal is “to allow people with developmental disabilities to live in the community, be part of a neighborhood, and enjoy their lives to the fullest,” and it is the only nonprofit in Saint Louis that provides long-term, affordable homes for people with developmental disabilities. We share Jessica’s hope that a party with Imo’s pizzas, salad and toasted ravioli will help brighten a wintry day for some of the Rainbow Village residents!

Congratulations to Jessica and the pizza party recipients at Rainbow Village, and also to our previously-announced winners, U.S. Navy members Richard and Chris (nominated by Pat F. of University City) and the NeuroICU floor night shift nurses at St. Luke’s Hospital (nominated by Kathy G. of Kansas City). Rainbow Village Residents

I would throw a pizza party for the residents of Rainbow Village, a non-profit organization that provides neighborhood homes for around 230 people with developmental disabilities in the St. Louis area. I would throw a party for the residents because they are an underserved population and most of them struggle to pay for their numerous bills.

Imo’s Pizza is pleased to announce the second of three winners of the Imo’s Pizza Great Cheese and Cheer Giveaway! We invited Imo’s lovers to tell us who they think deserves a catered pizza party, and with great difficulty we selected three winners from the nearly 1,200 amazing nominations submitted.

Today’s winners, in honor of those serving our country, their homecoming and their friendships, are Richard F. of the U.S. Navy and his friend Chris, also of the Navy and returning from service on the U.S.S. George Washington in South Korea. Richard and Chris were nominated by Pat F. of University City, who says the two men are best buds from high school and haven’t seen each other for more than a year. Both, however, will be home for the holidays and will enjoy a reunion with family, friends…and Imo’s pizza with toasted ravs! Please read Pat’s full entry below.

I am throwing a party for my son Richard, who is in the Navy stationed in Cleveland and will be visiting during the holidays, and his friend Chris, who is also in the Navy and on leave after serving on the U.S.S. George Washington, just back from South Korea. They have not seen each other for over a year and are best buds from high school. They love Imo’s pizza and toasted ravioli!

Yesterday we announced the first Imo’s pizza party winner, Kathy G. of Kansas City, who nominated the night shift nurses on the NeuroICU floor of St. Luke’s Hospital. Stay tuned tomorrow, when we’ll post the last of our three very-deserving Great Cheese and Cheer Giveaway winners!
