Imo’s Pizza is announcing the relocation opening of its second downtown store at 904 S. Fourth St. The store, approximately one and half blocks south of its former location of 742 S. Fourth St., opened on Oct. 26.

The new location will have a dining capacity for 40 people while continuing to offer neighborhood delivery and customer pick-up service. In addition, there will be outdoor café seating and will eventually serve beer, with a liquor license pending.

Chris Cochran, franchise owner for the past ten years, said he is making this move for several reasons. “After 25 years in our previous location, this move allows us to have indoor dining with a much nicer atmosphere. The previous building needed a great deal of repair and now we can serve more people for sit-down, pick-up or delivery more efficiently.”

Earlier this summer the other Imo’s downtown location moved from 2001 Olive St. to 1828 Washington Ave. This completes a three location move as in August Imo’s moved its Clayton location from 7359 Forsyth Ave. to 23 N. Bemiston.
